Autodesk实验室推出的新产品，让你可以快速搜索图形文件，当然主要支持的格式是Autodesk自己的：如dwg,dxf,dwf,dgn,pdf等，可见其雄心勃勃啊。目前资源还比较少，不过先可以体验一下dwf带来的搜索革命^_^

Content Search

It is an alpha version of a web service that allows designers — architects, engineers, students — to search and find generic or manufacturer-specific building products or components and associated design content. This content could include 3D models, 2D drawings, specifications, and descriptions for that product or component.

Visual Search

Visual Search is a revolutionary technology preview of a web service that allows designers and engineers to search using visual input such as doodle (freehand sketch), 3D model (IPT, STL), 2D drawing (DWG, DXF) and even an image (JPG). That’s right – you can actually use geometrical object or sketch as search input. Visual search enables you to help answer the question - Is there something similar that I may have created before or if someone within my company has it in the data repository. It may even help you make the buy versus build decision by identifying a supplier that may have a part you are looking for or a custom supplier that could produce it. Since shape (geometry) is the lowest common denominator when describing a part, visual search provides several possibilities. We are very interested in your opinion and suggestions of creative and practical ways that it can be used. Currently, visual search is targeted at designers and engineers working in the manufacturing industry. We are considering extending the service to include content particularly useful for AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry in the future.
